a crucial question

The sermon today at church really made me think. There are so, so many people who don’t even seem bothered with whether or not there is a God. They don’t care either way and it’s not something they even dwell on. What could be more important of a question? If there is no God then I guess nothing matters much in the grand scheme of things. BUT, if there is a God, then what else could matter more?! It is something people really need to take the time to think about. Don’t be too lazy or scared to consider something so monumental.

On a side note, I already failed on my "daily" entry idea. So I'll be substituting "frequent" for "daily".

the beginning

What is the point of blogging? Do I really think this will become a highly followed website? In a word: no. (I realize there’s a good chance that only my sister may actually take the time to read this.) However, I've found that I seem to be drawn to the idea of journaling (which I never do; if I start one it lasts about 2 days). This is evident by the stack of small, blank notebooks I already have and can’t seem to stop adding to. So where does this leave me? Here. Where a digital journal may be a solution. Why not just a word document on my computer that I keep to myself? The idea that someone may actually be reading this makes me feel like I need to keep it updated. Accountability. I’ll soon know whether or not it helped. My plan is to document my life in some form each day. This may range from random thoughts, pictures of daily activities, comments on things I’ve created. Time will tell. If you want to follow along with me I think you’ll get to know me better than you do already.
